An interdisciplinary team created the largest to-date global federated learning effort to develop an accurate and generalizable machine learning model for detecting glioblastoma borders. We will share what we learned about creating and maintaining such a federation, how the software infrastructure evolved over the course of the study, and how this work will empower the future of high-quality, precision clinical care worldwide.
