The 2009 program will feature best practice case studies and joint partner presentations relevant to the technologies, research, and regulatory issues of life science, pharmaceutical, clinical and IT professionals. Spanning three days, the meeting includes parallel conference tracks dedicated to:

Concurrent Tracks

TRACK 1:

IT Infrastructure & Operations
Prepare, acquire, manage, integrate, and analyze data and IT infrastructure/operation activities including HTS, biomedical research, and platform & storage design.

TRACK 2:

Informatics for Genomic Medicine
Apply informatics tools, science and statistics to extract the most knowledge from medical and clinical data for genome analysis, biomarker detection, and target discovery.

TRACK 3:

Predictive and in silico Science
Use of model-simulated therapeutics, in silico tools, drug discovery and development, and predictive bio-simulations & models to explore and understand chemical and biological systems.

TRACK 4:

Computational Chemistry
Interplay of informatics in the storing, retrieving, analyzing, and utilizing of chemical and biological data for molecular modeling, docking, structure-based design, pharmacophore, and QSAR prediction models.

TRACK 5:

Clinical and Medical Informatics
Role IT solutions, theoretical knowledge and social infrastructure have in allowing for efficient gathering and analysis of clinical data.

TRACK 6:

eHealth Solutions
